I looove this hostel. The location literally could not be better. It's right on the river right in the main historic area. Great view from the rooms. Staff is also really nice and accommodating. The bathroom on my floor was really nice and spacious. Although one bathroom is for up to 8 people, that really wasn't much of a problem in my 5 night stay. I was only booked for 3, but loved Gdansk and the hostel enough to book another 2! Only small issue was that a few nights got a bit warm in the room

Cool hostel with a nice view of the Motława River. The kitchen on the top floor has everything needed for you to cook for yourself, and the lounge is equipped with a TV. The rooms can get noisy from the people outside and in the summer, a lot of bugs get stuck inside the room. Also, if you're looking to do laundry, you have to do it during the day because the reception is only open from 10am-10pm.
Hostel is located right by the water in old town area. Convenient location for sightseeing, though a bit of a walk from the train station. Hostel was clean and has a common area on the top floor with tv and small kitchen. Never saw anyone using this space while there. Receptionist nice. Dorm room was hot, beds not sturdy (every wiggle causes the bunk beds to move), walls are thin (could hear people in next room). Reception area only open 10:00-22:00.
Receptionist is only available until 22:00 unless you notify them then theyu2019ll will stay until you arrive for 50.00 polish dollars. I wrote them and told them we would not arrive until one am and they said theyu2019d wait for us for the 50 dollars. Once we arrived no one was there and we waited 30 minutes. Luckily I had a few minutes left on my European phone and was able to call them. Ten minutes later they arrived and the power was out. They still charged me. The staff hardly understands English
